| New Genius, the OBD programmer, is the console built by Dimsport for serial communication with the engine ECU. Through the OBDII socket or specific diagnostic connectors, New Genius safely programmes European, Asian and American vehicles. It also checks the state of the battery to make sure the operation completes. Programming an engine ECU has never been so quick or so simple: with New Genius, Dimsport offers touchscreen technology on a colour display built into the console, so there is no awkward computer to manage the whole job. As simple as it gets: A touch of the screen and you are working on K/L-Line systems as well as CAN-bus ones, and on systems using the J1850 protocol.
