Not everyone wants the ECU software modified. Rapid modules by Dimsport are the other way round: they connect to the engine sensors with original connectors, fit in a few hours and come off without a trace. The ECU keeps its factory software.

POWER MODULE OR THROTTLE MODULE?
They are two different products and are often confused.
- Power modules (Rapid PRO, TPM, LPE): they work on injection and pressure signals and really do add torque and power, with declared gains of 10-15% depending on the engine. Rapid PRO is managed from an app with four driving maps.
- Throttle response modules (Rapid FR, FR Compact 2): they do not add power, they remove the pedal lag. The car feels sharper, but the horsepower stays the same.
MODULE OR REMAP?
A module is reversible in minutes, leaves the original software untouched and is the choice for a leased car, one still under warranty or one you plan to sell soon. ECU remapping works on the original maps instead: the results are higher and the calibration is developed on your vehicle, but it stays written in the ECU.
To see what your car would gain from a remap, look up your engine in the vehicle database. If you are unsure which way suits your engine, write to us: we will tell you honestly.
FITTING
Modules come with plug-and-play wiring and instructions. If you would rather not fit them yourself, installation is available at MasterTuning centres, where we also check that the engine is in condition to work with the module.
