Mounting positionIf this speaker is used as a third or fourth additional speaker, an extra harness for speakers 3 and 4 is needed. It is not included.
The system does not touch the exhaust system and does not modify the engine: it reads the driving data from the vehicle CAN bus (revs, pedal, gear, load) and reproduces the sound through one or more dedicated speakers, synchronised in real time with what the engine is doing. Three parts are essential: the Bridge v4 as the interface to the car, the Sound Module that generates the sound, and at least one speaker to play it.
It is the speaker that provides the foundation of the sound: low and mid tones, 120 dB, in a glass-fibre reinforced plastic housing built to survive under the car. It is the part that gives body and volume — the one you hear from outside. The High Speaker is added for the highs, the pops and the backfires; the two together are what the kits contain.
The Deep Speaker is also used as a second actuator to double the sound pressure: that is exactly the difference between the Complete kit and the Complete XXL kit, which has two of them.
On its own it makes no sound: you need Bridge v4 and Sound Module. If you add it as a third or fourth speaker to a system already fitted, you also need the extension cable for speakers 3 and 4.
