The system does not touch the exhaust system and does not modify the engine: it reads the driving data from the vehicle CAN bus (revs, pedal, gear, load) and reproduces the sound through one or more dedicated speakers, synchronised in real time with what the engine is doing. Three parts are essential: the Bridge v4 as the interface to the car, the Sound Module that generates the sound, and at least one speaker to play it.
It works at the top of the range, where the details that make a sound believable live: pops, backfires, turbo roar and the start-up note. 130 dB, fitted under the vehicle or in the engine bay, weight 1,090 g.
Maxhaust considers it essential for the more distinctive Active Sound features: without the highs the sound stays full but dull. It pairs with the Deep Speaker, which provides the foundation; the kits contain both.
