GALILEO is the first professional diagnostic tool for diagnostics on motor vehicles the size of a tablet.  Compact and extremely light, it is easy to handle while performing excellently both in the way diagnostics are run — always quick and intuitive — and in what those diagnostics can do. Our main aim has always been to build a tool that solves the repairer's problems. Since the economic downturn, workshops have had to keep running costs down and investments smaller, without ever compromising on quality.  With that in mind we built Galileo for workshops on a tighter budget that nonetheless have to offer their customers the fullest service, and therefore the fullest repair. Galileo is not a tool for everyone. Like all our products it is aimed at technical users who need complete, all-round diagnostics, able to work where a generic multi-make tool normally cannot. Innovation also means diagnostics tailored to what our customers need: coding, reprogramming, and a tool that can be configured entirely around the range of vehicles the customer works on.

Building a diagnostic system is not only about reading and clearing faults, running adaptations and activating components: above all it means being able to code new on-board systems and recover used electronic ones. With the BMW Motorrad you can recover a used part such as the instrument cluster, the ESA module or the ABS system, and even change the bike's equipment list.
