VEHICLE DATABASE

Find your car and see the gains

Search by make, model and engine: for every version you will find the factory power and torque
and the figures achievable with a MasterTuning remap. The catalogue currently covers
17,863 configurations, 170 makes and 1,736 models,
including cars, vans, motorcycles, tractors and marine engines.

How to read the database figures

Each entry shows four numbers. The two on the left are the manufacturer’s declared figures:
factory hp and factory Nm. The two on the right are the values reached
after the ECU work: remapped hp and remapped Nm.
The difference between the two pairs is the gain you can expect on your vehicle.

The figures are indicative and refer to a vehicle in a normal state of maintenance: clean filters,
efficient turbo and injectors, clutch in good order. On a vehicle with worn components the result
is lower, which is why every job starts with a reading of the real parameters.

Stage 1, Stage 2 and other jobs

  • Stage 1 – map optimisation on a completely standard vehicle.
It is the most requested job and involves no mechanical changes.
  • Stage 2 – calibration designed for a vehicle that already has modifications,
typically to the exhaust or intake.
  • Fuel economy – calibration focused on low-rev torque, for high-mileage drivers
who want flexibility rather than peak power.
  • Deactivations and corrections – work on specific ECU functions,
assessed case by case and in compliance with current regulations.

How to read a dyno chart

Every job is verified on the rolling road. In the chart below the red curves
are the standard engine figures and the blue curves those after the remap. The two that
rise and then fall towards the top of the rev range are power; those that peak earlier and stay
flatter are torque.

What matters is not just the peak: it is how far the blue curve sits above the red one in the rev range
you actually use when driving, between 1,800 and 3,500 rpm. That is where you feel the difference in everyday
driving, far more than in the maximum horsepower figure.

Before you book

If you are new to remapping, start with what is ECU remapping.
If your vehicle has an open problem — a warning light, a loss of power, a fault code —
it is best to fix that first: you will find guides in our blog.
When you are ready, look for your nearest centre in the list of MasterTuning installers
or write to us.

Frequently asked questions

Are the gains shown guaranteed?

They are reference figures measured on vehicles in good condition. The real result depends on the
mechanical state of the vehicle and is verified by reading the parameters before and after the job.

My car is not in the database, can you still remap it?

In most cases, yes. The catalogue lists the configurations we have already worked on, but we also cover
engines not yet listed: contact us with
make, model, year and engine.

Does remapping increase fuel consumption?

With unchanged driving, consumption generally does not rise, and with a low-rev torque-oriented calibration it
tends to fall. If you use the extra power, of course, consumption goes up.

Are mechanical modifications needed?

Not for Stage 1: only the ECU map is changed. Stage 2, on the other hand, assumes that exhaust or intake
modifications are already fitted.
